Flicking through tinder this weekend, I've seen at least two women that i know i thought had a bf.

How many couples still use tinder....?

Maybe they're in open relationships

I've seen several of my married friends and colleagues on tinder. Up to them what they do with their lives though!

I'm not sure how accurate tinder is -I deleted my Facebook well over 2 years ago(properly deleted) and my mates still send me screenshots of my tinder profile from time to time.

I think tinder keeps your profile live to make it look like there's more people available and make it a bit more appealing

Once you've agreed to the terms of use and submitted your details, pictures and all other content to a dating/sex site, then that company/site can retain them forever.

Although you can permanently delete your account, your profile never becomes non-existent. They own it. And worryingly, they can probably use it in whatever way they wish.

Tinder is one of those apps most people have had a wee look at to see what it's like.

As others have stated even after you delete the app your profile is still active.

Personally I've never actually heard any one say anything positive about Tinder.

Love a tinder conversation! We met on Tinder - totally clicked and have brought a house together. After years in a marriage I should have got out of years ago I am now in the kind of relationship I always wanted. With the most amazing man.

That's a really sweet story

I've met a few women from tinder and made a few genuine friends. But so many are fake/robot profiles.

Tinder also tells you that you have Facebook friends in common when you don't

I never had much success with tinder myself, but my best friend at uni met her wife on there. We forced her to download it, then she was reluctant to talk to anyone & now she is married & deeply in love. Another friend is heading the same way with a man she met. So it does work for some.

With regard to seeing married friends on it etc, that never happened to me, I rarely ever saw anyone I knew.

I have a wee tinder date today and I'm absolutely bricking it. I have no idea why I'm so nervous. I'll happily turn up at someone's house and get naked inside 5 minutes, but the idea of lunch and conversation is terrifying! (Oh and she's absolutely stunning too, that's a factor I suppose)

I'm on Tinder and some of the conversations seem to take ages to go anywhere whereas on PoF it kind of flies along.

I think Tinders reputation as a pickup site is unfounded although I did "consummate" a Tinder relationship this week.

Loads of fake profiles on Tinder. All those U.S army sergeants in Basra that need you to send cash...

A few people at my work have long term partners they live with now after tinder. With one couple being engaged and just had a wee baby girl. So does work for some I guess. Good luck with your date . I am the same can easily meet a guy off here but put me in that "date" situation and I get really nervous. Maybe I need to start doing socials and get used to a similar situation

Online and offline I can chat to anyone date or no date. Its just a shame that the social media way of things is creating a society who have forgotten how to connect face to face live and in person.

Something I have seen on here and dating sites and its also well discussed and described as a condition that the millenials will suffer if communication and interaction skills dont improve.

so kind of like the problems that were fortold about things we did. Live evolves this is a new world and who better to live it than the youth. Every generation claims things are done wrong guess what they have never been right

I wish tinder etc was around when I was in my 20s! My younger colleagues have loads of fun, and for some relationships have come out of it. Better than hooking up with a guy in a club half cut!
