I got a message from some I used to work with. I replied saying we knew him in real life so didn't think it'd be appropriate and he replied saying yeah I knew it was you lol! Also been found by a friend I've known for going on 17 years on here which was a bit weird at first, but it's turned out fine  Oh and Mr K had a pm in chat from a guy he knows through one of the volunteer things he knows. Gave him a bit of a fright lol |

met a couple at our first social and turns out the hubby knew my dad - both in the same regiment and we are still great mates with them on here.
have also bumped into someone we had been chatting to with a view to meeting in the local supermarket.
we always take the attitude that if they have "caught us out" we have done the same to them lol |

This has happened 3x now to my boyfriend who is not even from this country but things have always worked out in the end and great friendhsips have blossomed.
One old uni friend turned out to be a part owner of a siwnging club where we 'bumped' into her, the next being my boyfriend noticed his work colleagues daughter. I add he had very close relations with mother and daughter :P
At the end of the day we are all here for the basic same reason, some may just be curious but they are on the site for the same reason. |
