love a naturist beech, although never been on one in Scotland - apart from yesterday never really get the weather!!!
Fuerteventura - thats the place for stripping off and spalshing about in the sea as god intended!! |

Scotland's got umpteen thousand miles of coastline and I don't imagine finding a secluded spot, or even an inland space, to get an all over tan would be that difficult. Keep a towel very handy to cover up in case of any unexpected passers-by and you should be fine.
That's not to say some grumpy old codger won't turn you in to the cops but you should be able to talk your way out of it.
Where it all goes a bit wrong is when the naturist bit gets overtaken by the desire for some sexual hijinks. Somebody notices, reports it to the cops and before you know it - you're in court and worse.
I've seen mention of 'official' naturist beaches on the website mentioned above. I don't know how official these are or who has the power to designate them as such. |

I've designated my back garden a naturist area and I'm keen to have any of you ladies round to relax in the knowledge that you will not be arrested or bothered by anyone !
I keep a lovely garden with some nice flower beds and a few well trimmed bushes !  |

The website mentioned above lists two 'official' sites. It says nothing about one of them but suggests the other has the owner's permission.
Is that enough for something to be 'official' ?

there is an official beach up in the far north of scotland, about 45 miles from where we live. and it does have the owners permission. lovely sandy beach, very secluded and last friday woulda been a great day to be on it, but sadly we werent there. not sure when the next sunny day is due. hopefully in the next 3 months |

i remember that it was "officially" opened by the naked rambler bloke that walked the length of the country in the nude, altho he wore clothes to officially open the nudist beach. go figure that one out????? |

I don't see so-called 'naturist' beaches as any different from any other part of the country and, if you can be arrested and jailed for being naked on Perth High Street, there's probably no reason you can't be arrested for being naked on a beach somewhere - even if the guy who owns the beach says it's OK for you to be naked there.
Are you more likely to be arrested in Perth? Yes, of course but that doesn't mean getting naked miles from civilisation will be OK in the eyes of the law.
It's just a bit less likely you'll get caught and, if caught, punished.

Well i just head out on me boat on Loch Lomond, find a quite bay and drop anchor and enjoy the rays and fresh air.
No police to worry about just Japanese tourists with there zoom lenses, lol 
Shame the weather is so bad barley been out this season but here’s hoping: -p

well we have just done a very quick web hunt and there are definetly articles refering to it as an official naturist beach. anybody that is interested they can search under crakaig , or just get links from naturist sites in scotland. there are a few articles/sites that seem to be supported by the owner, who we have met, and it seems to be openly advertised on the net. |

About half a mile around the coast from La Coleta in Tenerife there is one....
Just back from holiday and "happened" to find it accidently whilst out for stroll........ |
