We are going to berlin in a couple of weeks , looking for recommendations on things to see and do and restaurants worth a visit. Staying in the Mitte area .

Check out the naked statues by the river near the Berlin Dom. It's a beautiful city but don't underestimate the size of the Tiergarten park, we thought nice walk, and it was, but massive!

Go to Berlinner Republic for a few beers by river next to felixstrabbe train station

Visit the Reichstag building. It is their Houses of Parliament. You need to book online in advance though.

The view from the dome at the top is amazing.

And do a Sandemanns walking tour. The basic one is free. If you do that on your first day, then it gives you ideas of all the other places you can visit. Can book that online too, although you don't have to.

Definitely the Reichstag, you can even book guided tours around the building, fascinating stuff
