I have six smoke alarms after having a fire caused by a cheap extractor fan fitted by the previous house owners.
I also check the alarm works once a month.
I also check my elderly aunts for her after finding her batteries were out of date. |

The firemen that deals with the 'Education' side with the general public and the schools are, at least in my area, older firemen, that don't go on the field anymore, are semi retired etc...
And they do an awesome work!
