Im not even sure if this is really allowed, but if the Admin wanna remove this thats cool,
OK I know this is a swinging site, but we have been here a while and it kinda feels like a community too, one of the benefits of a community is that folks help each other, thats something we are big supporters of, OK to try to make myself clear I have read things about members who help each other in things other than just "swinging" related things. We are many and varied personalities with loads of experience and talents, this is something that can be used for everyones advantage.
We all could use some help and advice at times and im sure there are many folks in here that can put something back into the community.
If U have expertise in a particular area then maybe U can be helpful to someone else who might be able to help urself with something in the future in return, I DONT mean if I help U then U owe me, I mean just help for helpings sake, it might be actual help, (like arranging transport for a social) It might be simple hugs if hugs were needed, it might be advice in a situation where previous experience can help. It might be PC help, Im sure there are some experts that can help the less experienced PC users to make this site more enjoyable, It might be help stopping smoking ( from Ex smokers) it might just be simple support in times when the economic climate is tough ( I DONT mean money!!! ) maybe just money saving tips etc.
OK thats the kinda bones of this idea, I dont know if Iv even made any sense, but Hey ho thats life!!! 
As an example, Mud is an OK type mechanic, knows a little about cars, can give warnings/advice about some car buying/servicing. Mud is alo an Ex.pro photographer, can give some advice on lighting/modelling/things to AVOID!! 
Hells is fully qualified in several areas of social care and very experienced in the legal aspects of care etc.
NO idea if this will work, but it sounded good in my head  |

MWAHHHH muddy, seems a great idea and it does happen, only yesterday Steve was giving advice about computers, like a mini tutorial in chat for us less technically enabled ie thicko here lol.
I have also had help with my gardening from _adcow who knows it's not so easy as a single parent to find time to keep on top of everything.
Yes we are swingers but I for one am happy to call people friends and feel honoured to do so. I believe that if a good turn is done I should therefore pass it on to others, and do try to. xxx |

fabby idea muds any chance on a wee service for my daughters saxo befor we drive to plymouth hahahahaha you started it but hey hope admin dont remove this as yes it can be like a wee family thing the swinging scene is a much closer knit family up here than they are down south (not knocking the english by far coz i am english lol )

If ur doing a long drive like that if the car is overdue a service it might be a good idea, if its not due its not required, simple checks like tyre condition/pressures, making sure there is plenty oil/water, filling screenwash etc, also cars doing long journeys that dont usually go on that type of distance can suffer from "heat-soak", its caused by sustained high speed driving in conditions its not used to, take a break regularly, let the car cool for min 25/30 mins. enjoy a cuppa;) ohhh and safe journey |

I, Steve and quite good with gadgets and technology etc. If I cant help then Ill probably be able to find a web site that can. I know enough about PC's to get by and help although not an expert by any stretch of the imagination.
Im a telecoms engineer by trade, working on the mobile phone base stations and am quite savvy with mobile phones too.

Gordie is really good with dealing with being away from home and the personal struggles that come with it, he dishes out advice to a fair few of his friends about it, he is also really good at workout plans if anyone is wanting to get fit on a budget.
Pamela is currently looking at setting up a babysitting business with all the certificates and disclosures so that could be an idea for people struggling with sitters?
Also, as we are still youngish lol, if any couples join who are new to swinging and arent 100% certain, give us an email and we can chat about it as it wasnt too long ago we were in the same boat  |

OMG! Mudguards, in all of my time on Fabswingers i have never read anything so great, I Applaude u and ur idea it is more than swinging after all it is OUR community so as u say lets HELP oneanother out if we can in any way we can with care , honesty,confidence,discression and if needed compassion.

Was course manager of various golf courses. "How do i get my grass greener?",
Might be able to help n suggest few tech things if yer gardens yer pride n joy, (just grass like, know diddlious squattious bout flowers etc),lol

could be worth asking the company to change our uniform though. Naked except for a bow tie is good summer wear |

Mr EK is good with computers as he's a computer programmer by trade and now works as a telecoms engineer (same sort of field as Steve I think!).
Mrs EK: Just trying to think what I'm good at! Well, I can knit (not sure how useful that is!) and I play flute if anyone wants to learn lol.
We've just had a major leak in our kitchen which has ruined all the units, and wondering if anyone knows how to replace everything quite cheaply?? Oh dear, is this the first request for possible help??? |

Gordie has a qualification in design and its pretty good with interior design etc, he is also learning pashto so if anyone needs help when thier bank has call centres in pakistan hes your man lol
im quite good at listening and organising nights in and out, not to mention really good at helping people with thier insecurities x |

if any of the guys or girls need any advice on fitness im your man i hold my ymca gym instructor ymca circuits and also have an hnc in health fitness and exercise . worked in this field for many yrs tho im not interested in personel training due to lack of time these days . tips hints etc not a prob tho .
i also need two new tyres for my car mud its a polo ?? |

TY for ur contribution Boss. and on the tyre thing, if U mail me the tyre size ( EG 185/60/14 etc) , I can try to get U the best price I can for a pair , supplied and fitted should be maybe £45/£50 (ish ) depends on actual size. |

I've currently got lots of time on my hands & have a lovely Champagne metallic/cream leather JAGUAR S-type (as well as the Porsche), if anybody would like a chauffeur drive? ... Oh, & I'm also an ex-pro photographer, so I'd be handy for a wedding lol.... or posh dogging photos lol lol

I served my time as a sparky, now a faciities manager for a maintenance company
am a amatuer photographer, however i am pretty good at photoshop and altering digital pics using Lightroom.
Am also an advance first aider for a emergency service
Prob of no use what so ever.... but hey ho

Help! lol, my sky dish has started to drop off the wall and sky themselves fekked up their callout, I sat in all day waiting for an engineer to call and he wasn't even notified! ... now short of climbing out my bedroom window onto the flatroof and wiggling away at it myself, is there anyone out there who may have an old/spare dish and a ladder and toolkit to help me out? |
