Funhouse. There's a scene where a kid is walking by a chain-link fence and a dog goes for him. No music build-up, no warning just sudden snarling and barking. Add into the mix that I'm mildly phobic with dogs and, most importantly that my girlfriend at the time got such a fright that she dug her nails into my bicep hard enough to draw blood and you can see why I spent the rest of the movie shaking.
I thought it was the best horror film I'd seen in years. Much later I saw it on DVD and without the 4d effects it was shite.  |
