A guy recognised me from work (I didn't recognise him) and when C hadn't replied to a couple of messages from the bloke's fake couple profile, he posted my work address in his status update for about an hour.
So that was fun. |

Never been tempted to push it beyond the cheeky wink? |

contacted a couple on here years ago.
Didn't know the lady and there was no pics of the guy.
All was going well until I discovered she was my brothers fuck friend.
Didn't realise he was seeing something behind his wife's back.
We had a chat about it and moved on
He funnily enough continued with the affair for another 10 years. In fact think he still sees her from time to time, both are married so none of my business what he does. |

I've been recognized a few times but never been approached at the time. They wait to message me later to tell me they saw me or ask if it was etc which I find easier. Not sure what I'd do if someone from fab tried to talk to me randomly when out, unless it was someone I knew well lol

I was recognised by a couple in the chat room long time ago and they said out my full name, which wasn't nice. I denied it was me lol but to be honest I wasn't worried as at the time it was just being recognised through work where the major problems would have been and I think they knew me locally, still don't know who they are and don't really care.
Now if recognised it doesn't bother me even though it hasn't happened until recently when in Asda recently and 'Orgies' cam up to me and slap me on the shoulder lollllllllllllll

Happens all the time when I'm out having a drink with a pal or two. I'm lucky no ones ever shouted my username or anything. They either come up and mention it when I'm by myself or they message me later on, doesn't bother me too much unless it's during the day and I'm with family. They would get a boot for that shit |

I was on chat & someone recognised me, posting in the chat room my name, job title & where I work. Then slagging off my ability to do my job.
I didn't know who it was so I reported them but then was pretty worried they might say something to people at my work. Nothing ever came back to me so I guess I got lucky. It wasn't fun though. |

I've seen a couple out and about from time to time. There's no problem and should be no stigma.
We're all here for whatever reason and would like to think can be grown up about it.
Not so easy in one horse towns right enough..... |

We bumped into someone we know from the vanilla world in CJ's - the look on her face was abject horror.
So we bit the bullet and went straight over to reassure her that what happens in CJ's, stays in CJ's, definitely seemed the right approach.
Now all 3 of us have a wee giggle about it whenever we cross paths in the vanilla world. |

It's not nice at all...
But I've had a few people say your this guy, a couple of people have given the same name.
Had ne person who thought they knew my name, address, car I drove etc... he then offered me £s to sleep with him. I'm not gay. He was quickly blocked!
But yes, really not nice when someone recognises you and tells you what they know about you!!! |

Thats the worst thing,
Knowing somebody you know is on here and they know that you are on but you dont know who they are
The wanting to know who it is kills us,especially when we both start trying to profile our friends haha

I think that's just rude. If I recognised someone I'd just say they weren't what I was looking for and block them. |

ive changed my profile pic to this relatively unattractive monstrosity and locked all my face pics cause someone claimed to recognise me not too long back and were making hints and suggestions about telling people I knew that I took as precursors to possible blackmail. |

Funny thing happened this morning. I had a meeting arranged to meet a potential client regarding a new business I'm trying to set up.
I apologised via phone to tell her I couldn't make it due to having torn my ligaments over the holiday period.
Funny she says a guy on a forum I belong to did the same thing. She now has my mobile number and knows who I am on here but I have no clue to her profile name. Hope she enjoys the profile and when we do meet to discuss her as a potential client do I approach her to become a potential on here............probably leave that one alone |

I think with the amount of guys on the site it's easy to go unseen. Iv only ever been recognised once by a woman who I know through our kids nursery and she recognised me the very same moment I recognised her. We chatted about it and have never mentioned it to anyone.
I'm unsure if she is still on, which is a pity as her outfits really were something else |

Got an abusive message a few months ago from someone who said they knew me then was blocked, so no chance to challenge whoever it was.
An ex fab fb also made a complaint about me to the moderators and I had no way of challenging or refuting the complaint.
Sometimes the age of reason can seem very distant.
Almost resulted in me leaving fab after 7+ years but you shouldn't let the bastards grind you down, as they say.

Haven't been recognised myself but I received a message on a previous profile from a guy who was very descriptive of what he was looking for along with a number of dick pics and one face pic... I used to sit beside him in English at secondary. I just told him he wasn't my type and left it at that.
Also got chatting with a guy and exchanged face pics. I recognised him because he helps out in my classes at uni! I told him I recognised him and we had a chat about it and he even gave me some advice as he'd been on a while and we were newbies. He offered to accom for us but we politely declined.
A bad experience is a worry though |

I run an Events & Exhibitions company and we were running Christmas parties for some venues in Glasgow.
One of the Sat night events had over 500 people at it and after the dinner from the stage & over the microphone I done all the thanks ect & advised that band would now start & said I hope all had a Fab Night.
Whilst walking away across the dance floor from the stage a couple approached and said we know you from Fabswingers!!!!...I said really and they said yes we seen your pic during one of the face Pic Fridays...
They were staying over in hotel the party was being held in and gave me their room number but sadly I was leaving to go to one of our over events that night & they wouldn't give me their names.... |

We have face pics on our profile so always happy if someone recognises us and says hello. Has sometimes led on to more. At our age need all the help we can get to meet other people.
It really is about time Fab started selling Fab t-shirts. For a little extra they could print your profile name on them. |

Got a message from a guy I'm friendly with - don't know him that well but we have friends in common.
PMd on messenger with general chitchat then asked if I had a Man, then said he'd seen our profile. Tried to get me to look at his pics. I didn't confirm our profile name but he found it anyway and sent me a few of my pics to confirm - needless to say he's now blocked. |

I've (S) recognised a few people from Fab in the local supermarket but wouldn't dream of mentioning it to them either in person or on here.
We did bump into a couple we played with at a party in, of all places, sheltered housing for the elderly! We were taking in some shopping for someone we were looking after and they were coming the other way down the corridor carrying a chest of drawers!! That was a bit awkward to say the least, none of knew quite what to say since we'd not really spoken much at the party!
I'm form a small town up the coast, although not lived there since I was 17 and we got a wink from a single fem from there who is the same age as me but we never replied, just in case......... |

I've been recognised on pof a lot which doesn't bother is but twice I've panicked. One guy from my.new job pulled me up but that had a happy ending. The second time I was approached in a night club and when I denied who I was he became physical and wouldn't let me leave because he "recognised my lipstick". This was in front of a group of my vanilla friends and was difficult to explain. |

Used to chat to a guy who stays near me in chat rooms and we always used to joke that we would meet each other in our local Tesco
One day it actually happened!! We smirked at each other but didn't speak. When I went out to my car he was parked next to me so we spoke then and laughed about it
I'd die if anyone from work recognised me but I guess they're on for the same reason |

Been recognised a couple of time last summer, realised my tattoo was pretty distinctive so hid the picture , first time , if honest I shit myself lol was with a group of mates at the time haha.
The other times I was OK with it, but I can understand how people could be slightly alarmed.
Your always gonna have these situations though when one half of couple are secretly playing on the side, My belief though, irrespective of your personal life , it's no-ones place to judge anyone on here afterall we all just looking for fun
Everyone will have a different view of course , bit no point in falling out over it

If I knew anyone, I wouldn't even go near them or let them know I knew.
I'd keep it to myself. Most people are here for fun, laughs n banter and don't need any kind of drama or hassle

We have been recognised a few times now and have recognised loads of people we know.
We deal with them all differently to be honest. We don't mind chatting to people we know as we already have an idea of whether we like them or not.
We met a couple recently from here that we now pretty well outside of fab and it was a good night |

Garage I use locally started talking about Fabswingers a lot when I was last on here with my wife last year. I did have a lot of pics that were so obviously 'me' so I figured they were trying to get a response. I just played dumb.
Do know a few who frequent a regular haunt of mine who are on it though. Never said anything to them. Though did see one checking his account when there yesterday
She was recognised in the petrol station too. Couple messaged us after the fact. Wouldn't bother me too much I don't think, so long as it wasn't family.
Son is 'of that age' now so that worries me more. |

Don't think I've been recognised off here, no one has said, though would like to know and be kept discreet.
Recognised a woman on here, from before I was on here, discreetly let her know, but would always be discreet about her identity, as anyone |
