Ok..... kinda stolen from the lounge.

FANUARY..... The renamed month of January where women let their fanny hair grow freely to raise money for gynaecological cancers. With the catchphrase "Wax is Wak, Bring Muff Back", Fanuary is similar in concept to Movember.

Fanuary was created to raise money for the 'Women for Women charitable trust'.

Now with Movember and the like when men grow their moustaches and beards etc and ask you to sponser them... we can see the growth and can even watch or participate in the removal.

So ladies would you walk into work or ask family and friends for sponsorship? Wouldnt the sponsors want to see the before and after?

Am I missing something here?

Sorry... I just don't get it!

And personally, I don't find it a very good message for the younger generation.

Yes, it is good to raise awareness! Surely there is another way than mocking the female body!

Some of the photos that have been circulating certainly shows it more as a joke than something serious.

And I can already visualise the pics to come to show proofs!!

Speak to your daughters but also to your sons, test your breasts/testicules every month and mostly get to know 'your' body so you can detect the changes.

Don't wait, if you find something, even if it is a small change check it out.

Better be safe than sorry.

In my opinion.
