As I stop for a break from all the cooking, cleaning, shopping and so on, I am pondering (as we all do) what the hell all this Christmas Madness is about. Events of recent years have made me very thankful this Christmas, to have people around me I love and also love me. Gifts to exchange with them. A comfortable, warm home and a ridiculous amount of food and drink to share and enjoy with them.
Many don't have such simple yet rich pleasures and who knows what our disrupted world will be like this time next year... It's funny to think that for all we have we can sometimes complain about what's wrong with our society, our families, our friends,our health and a million other thing and forget that we are actually very lucky and that there are many, many people in the world who are living in desolation, misery and poverty.
So, enjoy the not so good bits of Christmas dear fab friends... even the washing up! Don't take anything or anyone for granted!!
None of us knows what tomorrow holds...
Love and Peace to you all this Christmas and I hope 2017 brings nothing but good things.
