What I have noticed on this site is that a great deal of the members are people who love being anonymous and use it to be people they know they will never be,
Now all well and great and its a modern world and all that and if that's what your into fair enough but what pains me is the people who copy what is clearly a cliche type statement and use it to sound intelligent.
For example having a friends clear out soon. Well I don't think I need to go through them all, but that led me to thinking god there are so many women stereotypes to conform to ( guys will no doubt be same, stop it all haters dying to jump on me) that some women will be like no cock picks, others im not a whore, which has so many issues I don't know where to begin, but it's so demeaning a statement to women in general that they allow a woman who likes sex and with different partners a derogatory term such as a whole, i digress, so see if the site had like 5 things you don't like and you ciuld bullet point them before seeing inside a profile to see pictures you get to see these 5 bullet points would it stop so many people offending the obviously very sensitive and attention seeking needy types and keep us on their good side, saving reading all the shit on statuses like "ffs blocked for saying i didnt fancy him its not my fault he isn't attractive to me." You maybe hurt guys feelings for example, he doesn't wanna have to deal with woman who isn't interested and your not his mate as you basically called him an ugly unattractive cunt in his eyes ha ha and he doesn't have reason to see your face reminding him of said reasons.
And as some women demand cock and face picks or blocked others say send cock ur blocked could we just have a bullet points of 1 to 5 to stop hearing that whole clichéd fucked up nonsense. Its a sex site for sex mainly, extra stuff like making friends or fuck buddy's and having recipe swapping on forum etc is just bonus stuff.
Thoughts please. Word them in a manner its not a personal attack if it's possible as I bet thats a high possibility lol |

Good post.
I use the site to be anonymous, not so I can be someone that I'm not, just because that is what I like about fab.
I do understand what you mean though, far too many people on here follow a crowd simply because they want to fit in. It's a shame that they don't realise they will stand out more if they are themselves.
For me there are certain things that I roll my eyes at and would prevent me meeting guys, biggest one is the silly attention seeking updates. Problem is once I see them I look at the profile because I'm nosey so your 5 point system would never work with me, it would only highlight people I wanted to avoid at all costs but I'd read the profile regardless.
It's my time and I waste it well  |

The site is structured to accommodate as many different uses/people as possible so that everyone has the ability to use it freely and with tools that try to ensure minimum hassle whilst doing so. I personally think it does a good job of that.
People are people and you're never going to get everyone to agree on any given subject let alone The complexities of swinging and sexual etiquette in today's society so the best thing to do is use it for what YOU seek. It's like shopping... there are thousands of items out there but you are seeking merely a few and you have to find that few amongst many.

Personally I am here for my enjoyment only. Are there others out there similar to me possibly yes but if we don't know one another and have never looked at each other's profile does that mean we are following a crowd.
Yes some new to the site may adapt their profile after being on for some time even copying from other profiles but who is to judge why.
Yes there are needy and self absorbed people on here who crave attention. Others are just really friendly people and like to chat/meet but at the end of the day we are all here for our own individual reasons so let's just relax and have fun

1. Its swingers site not a sex site (hence the name) yes some use it as a sex site and thats their perogative
2. If others use the site differently to you ..that doesnt make them wrong and you right ..it just makes them different
3. Whats wrong with people using a different personna on here to real life .. the whole point of being on here is to release a part of you that isnt socially or morally acceptable in everyday life
4. People can state what they want on their profile or status ..If the content seems cliche to you it doesnt make them unintelligent ..and to say it does comes across as quite derogatory
5. You like everyone else is completely entitled to your opinions of the site but if its really as bad as you make out ...why are you here  there are alot of amazing fun people on this site ..focus on the way you use the site and not judge how others use it and you may actually enjoy it |

Interesting points made above as always. Iv been floating around on and off for years, part of a couple and on my todd. Whilst fab started out as a place to find those within the same mindset of casual and fun sex now I see it as a place where you can have good banter and make friends with likeminded lighthearted people. It is much more than just a sex site regardless of how many people say it is just a sex site, I do often wonder about the mentality of those who do believe it's a case of logging on, sending an email and getting pumped. Fabswingers is social media but it has changed drastically over the time since I first landed.
My time here has shown me that people can choose to change their entire personality, well obviously not everyone but the site does draw out both the best and the worst of people. I don't often send messages to people unless they email me as I don't want to appear to be hassling as sometimes, sending an email at the wrong time can get you a pretty shitty reply for no reason. For example you have guys here who are probably really nice in their vanilla lives but will pester people for sex and send some really vile shit in their emails. You get fems who by all accounts may not be the most perfect, may not get the most attention in their non-fab lives but as soon as they log on they have a disgusting attitude and believe themselves to be the new Kim kardashian (did I spell that correctly?)
Then again, some are bloody lovely, you always see posts on the forums of good wishes when someone is ill or even those who are well known are going through hard times. Many people Iv chatted to via pm are also brilliant, they may have zero ambition of touching my genitals but the banter is good fun....as are some of the private gallery pics, not that I ever look..
Fabswingers for me is a site where people can be who they want and have the right to do so, regardless if they choose to be decent or not, single, attached, gay, bi, greedy or into some real funky shit. Everyone should be accepted because you know what, who really cares... |

Iv seen alot come and go...yes..you will get the folk...guys and women try to fit in to the forum gang and you will get the folk that will try to shake things up and stir the pot
Either way...it will never change
Trick is...don't let what others write or do effect your day?

Hail hail to Bunkie. I am a newbie to the forum myself and love the social aspect of getting to know others better. I think the majority of people on here are generally very intellegent. Also very sexy . Then you have the bellend keyboard warriors that think they are something they are not which is helpful for me personally and my block list. Makes the selection process easier |

The way I see it fab is what you make it, its there for a range of different people to use the site in a range of different ways depending on what they want , socially , sexualy ,chat maybe even friendship so what if they have like you say bullet points or say stuff you don't like move on and find what you do like and what your looking for. If you spend to much time dwelling on what others say and do you clearly aren't having enough fun of your own which is what you want fun and good times and to explore whatever it is your looking for, not everyone is nice and may not be understanding of your ways and some are rude offensive and up their own arses but let them be and have your own fun life's to short xx  |

I have no issues others having a personality, needs, values or opinions different from mine.
Actually that's the way I like it.
I have learnt a lot from fab from others that are different from me. Even if I have rolled my eyes at a few things or been sick to the mouth seeing some pics but I have learnt nonetheless.
People do as they wish on Fab with their profiles and with their bodies.
So, the Site is fine as it is for me. If I didn't like the site and the people using it I would leave and find a site that suit me and my needs better.
That's my opinion anyway.
