for me a really good book or game rarely crosses over to the big screen well. The biggest disappointment to date has to be the bourne films while decent films they lavk massively in comparison to the books. |

And Kola, I hope it's not a flopfor me a really good book or game rarely crosses over to the big screen well. The biggest disappointment to date has to be the bourne films while decent films they lavk massively in comparison to the books."
Yeah, I know what you mean. Same with movie remakes.
I tend to blank the book or the original movie from my mind so I don't get totally disappointed lol
It can be frustrating though if you really have enjoyed the book.

I liked the games, especially the fourth where you essentially get to be a ninja pirate, I've even got the assassin logo from the game tattooed on my arm.
Not holding my breath on this film, once holywood get their hands on a game & try to make a film it usually ends in disaster  |

Biggest disappointment for me was probably Reacher! Had read the books and if anything tomorrow Cruise was about 4 foot shorter than Reacher of the books!!!
However if I have read the book or seen the original film I do my best to put it out my mind when watching something new!

True Al, let's hope the writers and the producers have done a good job. They don't seem to have many good movies under their belts from what i have read!
But am still looking forward to seeing what they do with it |

Yeah! I didn't take to Reacher at all.
And to be honest, Cruise is one of those actors that are predictable!
