Read an article the other day and there is certainly more information that needs to be found out. Know some staff and regulars who were there and are still struggling to deal with things.

The accident report deals solely with what happened to the helicopter - essentially an engineering report. There has been NO judicial or police enquiry as to responsibility. Why would the fuel supply hoses be switched to off? How could this possibly have occurred? What was going on in that helicopter?

The article I read was on that glasgow live site. Said the chopper when on an unexplained detour for 6 minutes that used up fuel that would have got it back to Base. Surely they should be in constant contact with control

I was passing it at the weekend and it came to mind it was this time 3 years ago. Still can't get my head round the space it had between the road, Bridge and clyde that it came down on the clutha. Especially given the taller buildings round about it.

I understand what you mean but I think unfortunately it fell like a stone.

A tragic accident with tragic consequences

I was coming home from silverburn that night and saw the helicopter flying over the motorway with its search light on as if they were looking for someone. It crashed about 20 mins later.I knew the pilot who was an amazing pilot. Not a run of the mill pilot. My only concern is it seems to be one family member who is always in the press complaining.I hope the rest of the families have grieved and are at a bit more peace now.
