I think there are nicer ways to tell someone there not attracted to you than that so id take it as rude plus offensive

I guess it depends in what way it's being said .

It could be in a joking way or if it's being said in a chat room referring to someone else on the site then it could be seen as being rude

My understanding of this saying (as a foreigner) is that your face is looking very flushed...so I wouldn't take offence.
