I used to watch it all the time up until I was in my late teens and now I can't be bothered with it. I can't see the point of a music contest (a tacky cheese fest at that)where the judges vote politically rather than with their hearts. It's supposed to be a feckin song contest after all. If other people love watching it as a guilty pleasure, you know just for the whole tawdry lol tackiness of it all then fair enough. Now that I think of it I think that's why a lot of folk watch BGT

"its all a total farce and should be stopped for all our sakes."

It is, a lot of money goes in to, much of it British and in recent years the UK has had bugger all chance of winning because of political reasons. I'm not going to try and change this in to a political debate, we all know why. But I suppose the UK does beneift from it as well, rather unfairly which is also why It's a farce. If a country is one of the bottom 3 which gets the least votes then they aren't supposed to take part in the following years contest. But because the UK invests so much money in it they always are aloud to take part no matter the outcome each year.
