Just been let down in Aberdeen traveled 190 mile to the hotel .

5 min before arriving got message to say it's tomorrow.

The messages clearly state it was tonight.

That's a shame, OP.

I'd recommend Cheerz Bar as the best place to meet someone who might revive your trip a bit. Good atmosphere in there too.

As to how far you've travelled, that's your business. One off meet or otherwise.

I've travelled to Glasgow from Aberdeen to meet someone before, and he's travelled vice versa. Hardly desperate though!
