I'm genuinely scared. Seems America didn't want a genuine, intelligent woman as President. Instead we've got a thick, sexist, racist, utter cockwomble as US President who will probably set America back decades |

Personally, I'm more interested in the divisive, only care about their own legacy idiots we've elected rather than a guy who could be a great or total shit president of another country |

My own personal view is that this year, people have decided to say 'we've had enough of career politicians who are in it for themselves'. Hence he vote to leave the EU and Trumps win overnight.
I can fully understand why people are fed up. The feeling of 'needing something different because it's just not working' is a very real one for a lot of people.
Only trouble is, the 'something different' is either muddled and lacks direction or is extreme. |

The people voted, by majority the electorate won, where's the argument. If the people were happy with the previous 9 yrs of Obama legacy then his party would have won with Clinton, the people are not happy hence so large a divide.
