Evening everybody. Hope you're well.
Unless you're lucky enough to be doing a job you love, what would you love to do if you could, instead of the job you hate?
For me, it'd be a chef. So near, yet so far. |

Midwife instead of social worker.
Did look into going back to uni but I could be sent to Shetland, Oban etc for placements and as a single parent of 2 young kids that's not going to work.

Funny thing, I did have my dream job. Or what I thought it would be. I was a professional photographer, studio work and everything. Grew to hate it, the commercialism and horrible things you'd hear parents say (asking me to photoshop their baby as he/she's "ugly"). I ended up quiting and now work for a charity and have never looked back. |

I absolutely love the job that I do.
My dream job is to be a musician, which I am on a hobby/vocational basis.
I'm extremely lucky but I worked my ass off for decades to do what I do on both fronts.
The harder you work, the luckier you get.
