As a neutral, but fan of footie its a bloomin exciting end to a championship.
One team at the end of it will look back at the crucial games that could of won it for them, the other will recall the games that did prove so important,thats what winning a championship is.
Teams laying down? These "other teams" have just as much reason to win or try to win as the next.
Just my angle on it.

That’s a bit harsh, however you do have to question why he’s the most hated manager in football history, sectarianism used to be far worse than it is now and managers never got that kinda hassle, at a guess it’s all the conspiracies and the everyone’s against us attitude, any neutral can see Celtic get their fair share of dodgy decisions by officials, but they only speak out when they’re going against them.
Personally speaking if they would just have got on with things on the pitch where football is supposed to be played they would have had the league wrapped up two months ago, after all their main rivals have a poor squad and up until a week ago were on the verge of bankruptcy.
Neil Lennon was a great player, that’s the kind of thing you like to see on the park, sadly though he’s no Billy McNeil or Martin O’Neill, a good manger needs to be able to control himself when required, and Neil is sadly lacking in that department, which isn’t a bad thing really but it is when it’s always someone else’s fault.

i still can't believe that people are finding reasons to condone someone being physically attacked pitchside and for parcel bombs being sent to him. I've said before, Lennon has been a twat. He has acted irresponsibly at worst but seriously? Finding reasons to blame him for what is happening to him?? I am completely gobsmacked by it all.
Is the same being said about the MSP who received one, or the QC acting on Lennon's behalf?? What did they do to deserve them?? |

The whole business is a disgrace to Scotland and football. The fact that Alex Salmond is a Hearts fan puts him in an invidious position in this regard but that shouldn't stop right-thinking folks condemning what's happened. |

The first and most important mistake you made was failing to acknowledge that Celtic fans are not reasonable people. You cant reason with the unreasonable. No doubt Ill be accused of being a bigotted sectarian Rangers fan when the truth is Im a non bigotted Dundee United fan who can simply see this nonsense for what it is.
The simple fact is if Celtic FC got the humungous chip off their shoulder then Scotland and Scottish football would be a far better place. Thats not to say that rangers are innocent but Neil Lennon symbolises all thats wrong with football in this country |

i can't believe some of the crap that i'm reading here!! Firstly neil lennon doesn't help matters but that doesn't give anyone the right to subject the guy and his family to this vile hate campaign!! Its football ff's. I'm a life long rangers fan and if i'm being honest i've disliked him since he joined celtic, he was a fantastic player but his attitude antagonises people. That doesn't mean he should be subjected to this shit tho!! As for the comment about sectarianism only being an old firm problem... WOW!! If you were as knowledgeable a fan as you claim to be you would know just aint true. Hearts are being investigated for sectarian singing just the other day!! |
