Hi
Im looking for a female to help with make-up.
Looking to learn how to apply it properly like making it look nice and smooth and dark eyes.
Tried following youtube vids etc but still end up looking like coco the clown lol.
Nothing else is involved in this just purely make up help.
If any ladies could help please DM me
Thanks

I think there's one or 2 ladies who use the forums who are make up artists that might be able to help you... Hopefully they see this post. I know from my friend who dresses that he needs to let his skin settle for about an hour after shaving before applying foundation. As for your eyes just keep practising. Good luck

If I remember correctly beauty students at the local colleges have to do a module on transgender make up and beauty etc. You could try there? Fingers crossed for you. |

That's not too far from me. I drive anyway.
Do you have primer & foundation as this is the basis to getting a flawless look?
I'll message you privately and show you some of my face pics & see if it's the kind of look you're aiming for x |

Like someone else has said - Caroline at CJ's/Kinky's Closet would give you a lesson.
Once you've had one lesson then it's a case of practice, practice, practice.
It's been 19 years since I was first "fully" made up and I'm still learning it.

Kirsty I was looking for the same as you not that long ago so I contacted a makeup artist to enquire about a lesson. The makeup artist got back to me and said sure, we arranged it and she came to my place. The lesson was just over an hour and cost £40. The girl left notes on what she had done and a list of makeup to buy. After that it's just a lot of practice. You could maybe see if there is a makeup artist local to you who could do the same. Good luck with it xx |
