I mean wtf do people think is gonna happen on a public social meet? "Aha! This would be me! I kinda find it funny, given the slagging I have had on the other thread about stranger danger when meeting folk on the internet, that I am being slagged here for having some personal rules about who I meet. For me, even someone who appears totally great like the op (well, until this thread obvs) needs to have a visible veri so I can make my own personal decision about the authenticity of that veri. It's a personal thing but it's all about the risk assessment at the end of the day. If I can't check out that the profile you have been veri'd by looks genuine then it's not worth the risk. | |||

Personally I don't vary what I ask for from folk based on the time of the month. That would just be silly.
I am happy to say I have never had a problem with it and all the folk I have met from here have been perfectly lovely.

I don't think any less of any of you for it. I also reserve the right to choose not to meet folk without visible veris.
