Probably aimed more at the males, but when you're mailing a woman and the conversation is flowing but she goes offline - do you think "She's never gonna see my reply, cos when she comes back on she's gonna have about 150 msgs to get through"?
Or is it just me?  |

Yeah I have had this happen to me a few times.
And you don't want to be "that guy" who comes across full on, just in case she did see it and is sifting her way through the 100s of messages |

Would be nice. I kinda think though that the longer she's offline, she just mass-delete when she comes back on  |

I'd say, if she goes offline without saying goodnight, or somesuch, your goose is cooked. That's my usual experience. |

I'd say, if she goes offline without saying goodnight, or somesuch, your goose is cooked. That's my usual experience."
I rarely say goodnight or similar, I just log off usually, if she likes your chat she will be in touch |

I'd say, if she goes offline without saying goodnight, or somesuch, your goose is cooked. That's my usual experience. I rarely say goodnight or similar, I just log off usually, if she likes your chat she will be in touch "
I don't suppose many people say goodbye or goodnight, even if they've no intention of continuing to talk to you. So you still end up none the wiser lol. I will see what the morning brings

If the conversation was flowing and I was interested, I'd make a point of checking to see if there had been a reply. I've never mass deleted, granted we get less messages now than we did when we were new as the novelty has worn off lol, but it's not a function I would ever use |
