It's a relatively uncommon practice which obviously has its dangers. I believe the lack of oxygen is supposed to heighten arousal etc. Other than that I don't know much I'm afraid. I guess if you both enjoy and have some kind of safety rule then its up to you both whether you do it or not. |

There are ways of doing this whilst still giving the woman full control. It's something I have done but only with ladies who have asked me to do it.
It requires a lot of trust and responsibility.
OP, if you don't like it, tell her. Be honest. Because ultimately if you don't feel comfortable, it's not worth doing it.  |

OP you just need to have an open discussion with the lady in question. mrs j enjoys this sometimes & it's not really my thing, like you I don't really get it. But I do get that she enjoys it. So I tend to apply a little pressure but not a lot, more than I'd be inclined to naturally & less than she can cope with. The key is, as always, communication. If you feel it's totally not for you then maybe you can both come upon another option that you can both agree on?

The gripping of neck isn't pain. Well depends on how its done.
It the sense feeling, the feeling of control and in the other person receiving is given the control to that person. I would never do anything that the other person does not like.

I think you looking at it differently in your own view again, your saying things like "I get that's what it is for you." obviously from what I said it was mutual and again, there's no way I would do anything unless the person really enjoyed it as well, (they prob got more out of it than me), the same goes for kissing both will hopefully enjoy it. Well I understand your point totally but when you direct the first sentence to me, (I get thats what it is for you......), and then also mention throttling in the same paragraph that's why I make sure you totally understand and the viewers of the post understand that you are wrong.
When I make a joke on a post, there is no mistaking its a joke and its not perceived any other way. When I read it back, your comment about 'throttling' does not look like a joke whatsoever and I'm sure most people reading it would feel the same way but hey that's my view.
In regards to your point of "restrict someone's breathing" I totally agree with what you are saying, Again there are different levels and the 'restriction type' I do not and will not go along with. The OP post does not state what level he's talking about regarding choking.
