Hi fellow fabbers,
Just looking for a bit of a group opinion.
I was thinking about attending one of the glasgow based parties (probably cjs since its the one most seem to attend) but I'd be doing it as a single male.
Is it worth my while or will i just end up standing in the corner like a plum as I've come along alone?

Depends on whether someone takes a fancy to you ...no1 can really answer that ..going to cjs doesnt guarantee you a shag  if your just talking about having a nice time socially again that will depend on you ..if your easy going and not pushing for anything else im sure youll be fine |

If you go and just stand in a corner you're not going to get anywhere. The point is to socialise, chat, get to know people. I've always found CJs welcoming when I've gone alone and with C, you'll be fine.
If it helps, some people tend to meet for a drink beforehand so you wouldn't need to walk in alone if you're nervous  |

Yeah greedy girl tends to be more guys thsn woman lady one was 40 guys to a out 3 woman. But then it's been a fair split as well it's judt your luck on the night x |

hi thanks for let me know because rest of nights are for single females and couples but I will try to enjoy my self you never know I maybe get lucky

Single female and couples are 2 Saturday's in the month, the rest are usually fun for all although single guy places are limited

If Fridays are the only night you can go then yes it is mainly going to be a GG night.
Saturdays are all different. May be couples and fems, Fun for all (anyone)
Fetish nights (anyone) and TV & admirers which also includes anyone. |

Cant speak about the clubs as i havent been but attended a social a long time ago in fife . If youre chatting and easy going plenty folk will chat and you never know .
I went sober so i could escape if needs be and landed up at a 4 girl 5 guy party . Interesting experience to say the least . |

Why dont you message BigD262..You are both from Glasgow ..Grab a quick pint before hand and attend CJs together.
However Greedy Girls Night with 40 Guys to 3 Women just isnt sexually appealing.Then again CJs isnt my thing either.

If you stand in the corner and don't speak and socialise then it will be long boring night!
The other thing to avoid is being a lurker, basically following couples or single females about with the hope they will ask you to join in without engaging in conversation first!
I always go not expecting anything and be myself, never had a bad night! |

Thanks folks,
I should've been a bit clearer to begin with - it isn't my intention to stand in the corner all night i am actually quite friendly and chatty.
I was more concerned that as a single male not on a greedy girls night i might be somewhat of an outcast as at times the site can feel quite anti single male (yes i know there are a lot of abusive wee boys on the site) between all the no single men/no new men statuses and all the couples who are only after another female.
To those of you going on friday enjoy. |

I've never found it hard to socialise and always have a great time when I'm out and meet new people but when we went to cj's no one spoke to us.....not one single person and got a few daggers also....I will never step foot in the place again but go and see for yourself and hope you have a better night than we did....good luck x |
