I saw a cracking one today in mint condition! Think it was a mark 2 and looked recently painted!
Was also a big fan of the Ford Orion!

1st car RS 2000 then Audi Quattro coupe turbo.... Really wish I kept any one of them as cars now a days just don't have it... Yes faster and more tech in newer cars but appeal .... Well if could afford any one of my two cars again would jump at the chance

I had a Black Capri Laser....Then sold it for a Toyota MR2.....
Prior to joining here ..i bought a Mazda RX-8 ..Sold it a year later as i couldnt keep it going in petrol .

Wish I still had my Mk1 RS1600 and Gp4 Mk2 RS1840. Worth a small fortune now.
Still have the original sales brochures in mint condition for many of the Mk1 & 2 RS models, which I can look at if I want to beat myself up |

Passed my test 1978 had an Escort Mexico.
Bought a Mark 11 Cortina got into the custom stuff raised the rear suspension, dice, sheepskin ceiling, under chassis lighting, Chrome exhaust that ran the larger of the chassis
Rolled it into a field
Bought a Capri Laser
Turned to Bikes instead
Currently no wheels |
