I couldn't watch it for that reason. Felt he was woefully miscast. I've subsequently been told it's a decent enough film if you distance it from the character in the books

I tend to do that with books I have read to avoid disappointment.

Same with remakes, I separate the 2 movies in my mind if that makes sense.

"The Green Mile"

Love that film so much - this part has me in tears EVERY time

Paul Edgecomb: On the day of my judgment, when I stand before God, and He asks me why did I kill one of his true miracles, what am I gonna say? That it was my job? My job?

John Coffey: You tell God the Father it was a kindness you done. I know you hurtin' and worryin', I can feel it on you, but you oughta quit on it now. Because I want it over and done. I do. I'm tired, boss. Tired of bein' on the road, lonely as a sparrow in the rain. Tired of not ever having me a buddy to be with, or tell me where we's coming from or going to, or why. Mostly I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world everyday. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head all the time. Can you understand?

Paul Edgecomb: Yes, John. I think I can.

Fucksake!!!! My heart!!!

That's a bit unfair of me. But the author is a bit of a one trick pony.

Read one Dan Brown book and you feel like you've read them all.

"Kajaki

Not sure I know it"

Based on the true story of Mark Wright.. Kajaki Dam 2006. A company of young British soldiers encounter an unexpected, terrifying enemy. A dried-out river bed, and under every step the possibility of an anti-personnel mine. A mine that could cost you your leg - or your life.

Ben Cash (Viggo Mortensen), his wife Leslie and their six children live deep in the wilderness of Washington state. Isolated from society

"One More Time With Feeling" beautiful, sad and very moving all at one time.

However, if I could recommend one movie to everyone every day, it would be "Earthlings". It has changed many lives for the better and could change yours too.
