We've all do it, on the phone with a person and just listening you sometimes paint a picture of what that person may look like.
Have you ever done the same with a person on fab, who you are about to meet but you've not seen their face....yet? How did you perception work out? |

Years ago I used to talk to a woman on the phone. We flirted a bit had a bit of a laugh. All harmless fun.
Then she came in for a meeting!
And she was gorgeous. And around my age. I always had this image of a woman about 25 years older than me (which wouldn't bother me now) and not very attractive at all. She just gave off that vibe. She sounded mature and meek but with a hidden confidence that she could only utilise through the phone
Weirdly, it made me less flirty with her on the phone! She probably thought I'd not liked the look of her - when it was actually the opposite ! |
