My mums a pain in the arse. Her wisdom is always to do the opposite of anything I'm doing.
I have found myself saying things to my kids though and thinking "omg I sound just like my mum" |

Always remember my granny telling me "Eat your crusts if you want curly hair" about an hour after getting me hair straighteners for my birthday 
My mum's rule is always if you feel shite then make yourself look amazing, and you'll feel better. This is why my colleagues know if I've got bright lipstick on I'm probably hungover. |
