Hello all, just trawling through forum posts and had a thought on the subject of soldiers. Some say they love them, others say they won't go near them. Just curious to know some reasoning behind folk's decisions! Before we go any further I'll make use of a little disclaimer, I know and fully understand that decisions are people's own and I'm not telling anyone to reveal reasons if they don't want to! Also I'm not a solider at this current moment so I'm not necessarily biased!

I'll get stick for this but... even Squaddies will tell you... They're slags, cheats and vile as fuck. It doesn't stop you shagging them though. I never used to like them due to past experiences with a good friend of mine but I decided to meet a few for a gangbang... Yeah wish I hadn't. Then I met one and he was sound as fuck... Then a few months down the line.. Turns out even the nice ones are exactly the same as the others. They make for an easy shag though but that's just my take on it.  |

I had of course heard of the stigma and all the assorted stories concerning excess consumption of alcohol and subsequent activities and thought it might have something to do with stuff like that lol |

Well as a ex soldier yes we have a warped sense for different reasons but it comes with the very difficult job and environments we have been put into. Just like doctors, firemen and anyone else with a difficult environment to work in.  |

When you say "soldiers" do you mean Army, Navy or RAF? we are all different. We were all Armed forces, different from "soldiers" |

The reason why I don't date/meet or even chat to serving and ex military is family.
My dad was in the army and was away a lot. As I got older I missed him more and more and would alway worry about him when posted to places that was always in the news. I could never imagine how my mum felt. That was till my ex joined up with my brother.
They signed up with a few other school friends. I know exactly how my mum felt. Both saw active service in danger zones and I don't think I slept properly.
All 3 sadly no longer with us. If I were to meet/chat to a military personnel it would only bring back some sadness. |

I would agree, almost all the stories ive heard come from the infantry! Also got a few friends in various infantry regiments, some picnics missing a few sandwiches there!
