Hi I'm travelling up to Scotland for work for the next two weeks and I'm staying in Linlithgow ...

Anyone local ? If so could you recommend any good places to go? Eat ? Socialise etc ..

Falkirk

Used to live in Linlithgow - there are loads of pubs so plenty of choice for eating out.

Just looking where you are and didn't realise it was so close to Falkirk ... A bit of a nerd but I've always wanted to see that wheel !!

If your going to see the Falkirk wheel you need to take in the kelpies too.... and a wee run down to south queensferry to see the new bridge being built... a sight to see the three bridges standing together.

Best places to eat.....

West port hotel

Bar Leo (Italian

Delhi's Winter (Indian)

The Four Marys

The bridge Inn and The Ashman (Indian) are both out at Linlithgow bridge

The chop and ale house at champany and the park bistro are both a couple of miles outside the town.
