The amount of single males well out number the couples and single ladies.
It's nothing against you but as you are new I assume you thought it would be a bit like instashag.
You need to be patient it takes time. Most single guys on here will tell you that.
Get yourself to a social and meet people on here. Works wonders lol. |

oh no i get that, i know the males would well outnumber... and yeah i am new here, but not to swinging. not expecting a deluge of messages, far from it, just annoying when the end of profiles say 'no single males' or 'single males will be blocked' etc when the profile says they are looking for males. weird. ah well.
have a fun saturday! |

Females & MF Couples get swamped with dull, one line, dick pic mail from single fellas all wanting their leg over.
Some users will block single males to stop this from happening, some want to do their own search (as once a single person gets a mail from them they can reply avoiding the filters), & some only want to chat with other couples who have swinging credentials.
It's their choice who they want to chat & meet with, just as its yours to chat & meet (& filter) who you want to.
Patience, understanding, respecting choices & a positive attitude will help you get enjoyment from Fab. Hope this helps. |

If I read it right, the OP isn't complaining about the blocking of, or not responding to single males, or to anyone who has a preference not to meet single males.
Rather, I think the niggle is the inconsistency between profile preferences and profile text. So if you're trying to "do the right thing" and use the search to find only those who might theoretically be interested in you, you get false positives: people who came up in your search because they've ticked the fab box for meeting single males, but who have stated in their text that they don't want to.
My guess is that most such people join, fill in the form saying ticking the single male box because they are, at that point, quite happy to meet them. Then the dick pics, crude messages and sheer volume of messages wears them down and the write "no single males" on their profile, but forget to un-tick the box.
Which is all perfectly understandable behaviour - even if it leads to annoyance for those of us who'd like not to bother folk who'd like not to be bothered. |

Yes, I understand that frustration but also accept that if users then use the filters to block single men that it does the job it says & removes single men from coming up on their feeds. They might still want to contact single men themselves, but just not want inundated by mail. Everyone uses the filters, & other tools, including their preferences to suit their needs.
I'm not kvetching about how folk use the tools or their profiles, merely stating possible options & trying to play Devils Advicate as to everyone's right to use the site how they please, even those who might be inexperienced about using filters, or forgetting to turn them on/off whatever the reason.
Good point though that sometimes folk forget to switch them on/off, but it could be to keep their search criteria & news feed as open as possible but use their profile to deter certain categories mailing. Just a thought, nothing more. |
