Hosting a party in Glasgow City Centre, Tradeston G5, on Sat 17th Sept. looking for verified couples and a select few exceptional singles. Numbers limited to 12. PM me for consideration, preference will be given to those who are considerate enough to attach a recent full length pic (edited for discretion of course). Please do not ask for an invite on this thread.....you will be ignored. I will post further details as they emerge, I will reply to PMs from those we wish to attend, full details of time, location and house rules will be PM'd within one week of the party.

Because oldie, fake accounts posing as couples/singles very seldom have a full length pic, and those that are silly enough to send pics taken from the Internet do not pass the tineye test. It's just an easy way for me to protect my privacy and that of those who attend the party. J. |

I'm verified and iv no full length pic
Does that say im a fake?
Sorry and please don't take this the wrong way ...but...a single guy saying he's organising a party but you have to send him a full length pic of yourself sounds a tad...weird? |

tineye google image and all others dont tell you which pic is fake only that the pic is in other places

No oldie, not having a full length pic does not make you a fake.
I run all pics through a reverse image search engine (tineye) to see if they have been copied from another site, full length pics have more background details that are difficult to photoshop out of the image therefore giving tineye a better chance of getting a successful hit.
As I said, I would prefer a full length pic edited by you for your privacy. I did not say that you wouldn't recieve an invite if you did not have a full length pic.

Are you actual joking?! Haha you run all pictures thru "tineye" or whatever it is.... aye, okay. Wait till I send you my face pictures then you can find my Facebook and instagram!

think you perhaps need to research a bit further into what an image search engine can and cant do before putting on the dearstalker. 20 seconds I could upload the same pic and tineye wouldnt see it. you can also manipulate dates quite easy. Sorry but the nature of this site your asking an awful lot for a golden egg party imo

Kola, thanks for the feedback. I understand and accept that is fairly simple to manipulate the tags on a file, just the same way that that it is easy to create a false 'verified' profile on a site like this, however I am unwilling to open my door to just anyone without taking what I believe to be some basic precautions. I also understand that there are people who will view what I'm asking as a big put off, but I also believe that we are all adult enough to understand the need for trust when organising a meet... Simply put, I would rather people got cold feet 4 weeks before the event rather than 4 hours before. I am genuinely relieved that people on this site are questioning my post as it goes to show that others are as keen as me to protect their privacy, but, at the end of the day, it's going to be me that potentially opens my door to a fake/idiot/journalist (the list is almost endless) on the 17th. Hopefully the next party will be easier to organise if I haven't secumed to stress by then . |

Good for you for going through some security or check etc and putting your mind at rest....just read another thread about a guy who was attacked or something. ...it might not have happened if he was a bit more caucious...hope your party goes well x |

But you can take any full length pic & crop it.
I've met a few people that didn't actually match profile pics. I'm not meaning weight eg but filters upon filters got some shocks. Good luck op hope it goes well ps I'm not sam fox look a like but at least I send my face pics private without a filter |

Maybe you should have a few social meets rather than pics. Some people will be reluctant to post full length pics.
I'm sure you won't succumb to the stress. You'll still get call offs regardless of all your precautions. |
