Professionally, I am very confident in that setting, always have.
Personality wise, I am getting more confident in my 40s.
However, I wouldn't call it confidence, i am able to take myself more by the hand and say to myself 'get a grip woman'. And do things.
Hope this makes sense |

I'm painfully shy, but it's getting easier the older I get. Definitely more confident now than I ever was. I certainly couldn't be doing anything like this if it wasn't for my hubby though. He helps with my confidence a lot xx |

I find I have a 'sexual/fab confident' & a 'real world' confident. Outwardly confident in both but have a wee secret wobble now & again. Although definitely more sexually confident in my 40's.....post divorce.

Have always been a very confident person bordering on cocky.
A mental breakdown just after my 51st birthday broke all of that.
A constant battle with depression that lay hidden for over 40 years came to the surface and almost destroyed me.
I am now almost out the other side. Some of the confidence is back, has taken a lot of hard work on my part rebuilding and recreating my psyche.
Who I am now is who I should have been and not someone else's perception of who I should be.
At 55 I still have the heart and mind of a 25yr old and still compete physically with with guys in that age bracket. My knees no longer carry me the way they should.
My goal is to be completely out the other side by the end of this year. I know I will still have recurring bouts of depression but I am more equipped to deal with that now.
So yes in another 6 months or so I should be as close to the cocky wee smart arse I once was.
