Fab friendships

How many of you have fab friendships on here where you have become so close you share a lot of non swinging things with them ?
Ie meeting up away from fab .
Confiding a lot in each other.
Meeting familys.
And maybe even holidaying together.
Saw some comments in the past where people think because you met someone on this site then its not a true friendship do you think this is true ?
Just curious to see other peoples opinions  |

I'm lucky enough to have some awesome fab friends.
A couple of them know more about me than my mum and we are there for each other through good times and bad.
They know who they are and they also know how grateful I am to them.
I'm also sad that along the way I've lost one or two but I'm always here for them if they ever need me  |

Some of my closest friends are those I have met through fab. Some I've played with, some not but just clicked anyway. My kids have met them although they don't know where we met.
We do non fab things together, nights out, days away, cinema or just chill out. It's nice to have friends who know about my fab life that I can confide in if I need advice or to have a rant to if something is bothering me
I would class them as true friends and would remain friends even if left this lifestyle |

I have made some great friends over the years on here. I'd say it's my MO tbh. Nothing better than having the comfort of being able to talk about life's happenings as well as the ups and downs of fab life!!! A few are on my social media, meet a few for social or sport stuff occasionally etc. I just ignore the arseholes on here and choose wisely!!! |

People will always make friends in any environment, it's human nature to form close bonds. Some will make firm friendships, some will want to keep it light and move on. Each to their own I guess. For me Fab life is very separate, that's not to say there are not "friendships" but they are sexual and don't cross into my personal life  |

One of my best friends was a meeting through fab. We have met families and socialise a fair bit away from here.
I've made many friends over the year's. While most I don't see often it's always lovely when we do. |

There's nowt wring with having friends you have met through the site, its not really all that different from befriending people in the "normal" way. I (Mr) personally haven't really made any firm friends, but Mrs has a couple of folk she is good friends with, some that have played, some not. |

Some people use this site as their only way of making friends ..which is sad.
Sex swinging should never get mixed up with your personal life...
Albeit, there can be like-minded friends due to mutual sexual interest.
Ive seen a few disasters over the years.

I have a few people i would class as true friends ive meet on here.
Ive got 3 wonderful ladies and 2 guys who i tell everything to and trust completly.
One in particular who means world to me. I spent alot of my time with him and he knows everything about me and my life. Even though we do hook up friendship is most important thing.
I think its good to have friends who think same as you. |

There's quite a few people we're very friendly with on here and will meet for drinks, food etc, outwith the swinging side of things.
There's a few people I'm very close with and will talk about personal stuff with too. One has met my parents (accidentally, we into them in town) and I've met another's mum too  |

We have made some lovely friends on here. We've had social nights with them, introduced some to other friends, been to the cinema, for dinner etc & Mrs J has been to burlesque classes with a friend made on fab.
We love it this way, were sociable people & can't really do the "turn up, fuck & leave" thing.
Yes you can make real, true proper friends on here. Most friendships start with a shared interest, music, sports, hobbies etc. It's no different on here, we have a shared interest in sexual things & then find out you share other interests too.
So a big thank you to all those we've befriended, you are all wonderful people

Thing is,its what your comfy with,as has been said before there are a couple of folk on here I would gladly meet,and have done,away from fab.
Mrs dlt is not only my best friend but my wife,and including her there are about another 3 or 4 folk I can talk to about anything |

Never set out to make "vanilla" friendships or even find a relationship but sometimes these things are found in the oddest of places and when they enhance your life I'm not going to discriminate because of how we met!

There isn't half some unecessary drama over things... Each to their own, there's really no need to be trying to convince others to agree with you - live and let live, meet like minded people, let others do as they please and respect others opinion, simples |

We have a great friendship with another couple on here - they are as crazy as us and we can go shopping together, they have been there for good times and bad, and i can tell them anything in confidence. We chat maybe once or twice a week, sometimes when we go to nights out we play, others we dont. But it doesnt interefre with how we are as friends. |

Sounds like some real positives from this site.
This site helps to cut through the butter. Once you're talking about sex, most people are open to talk about anything and that makes two people very comfortable with each other |

As others have implied, being here might help get past a few initial obstacles to meeting people that are very worthy of being friends. There are a few beautiful souls who I'm very grateful to know already. |

Fab friendships are not any different to making new friends in the vanilla part of my life. The bonus comes from us having a better understanding of each other. I have many friends, but my friendships here on fab and one person in particular , has enabled me to start living my life again to the full.
I embrace fab friendships, it says that on my profile, better fab friends than fab enemies

I've made a lot of good friends through fab both male and female and I'd go as far as to say one of the closest friendships I have is down to fab and kik (yes we are in a kik group)
We are booking up to go on holiday next summer, do things with family etc

It's great when friendships evolve on here. I never think it matters where you meet someone if you have a mutually supportive and caring friendship that's all good.
But when it goes wrong on fab it's car crash time as more often than not all issues are played out on the forum or updates which can be mega uncomfortable to watch. It's often like a divorce with both parties fighting for custody of fab. |

All great when going great...but when they turn sour...you better beware of the fall out as then the dirty whispering campaign starts...
That's why yes a friendship on here is fab...but it's best left as it is...virtual..some folk have issues with folk on this forum that they have and never will meet? What's that all about? If a fab friendships goes beyond the site..ie..real life...and it goes wrong...would you be ok with a person knowing all your personal stuff..ie kids work home life on here to air or chat to others about?

lol i must be some do know this info. the next comment isnt against yourself but folk have things to hide these tend to be the ones who want a sex site.so its dependant on how much trust you place in a person. Also for yourself you have (or seem to have) diffrent aspects to your life fab virtual real woe is me I only have a life pmsl. Im not saying you never get your fingers burnt. Maybe because I'm married and have kids though my husband knows we used to swing together but he got fed up with bullshiters maybe it's diffrent if your single and do the want others knowing about your sex life? |

lol some folk are masters of disguise they can give the impression of being the type of person you seek then later on they become.something else. I accept that my life is very ordinary so for me theres little to hide. My family wouldnt be suprised in the slightest if it came out I was a swinger (they know about booty calls I recieve) the only reason its not fully open is children. Strokes n folks for yourself its a sex site for me thats something I couldnt be part of |

lol its the leap of faith thing. You seem settled in your life and you are only looking for a little something extra so your way suits your needs. For others what you seek isnt enough for them to move to a swinging time it reqs more. If I wanted sex with a random I would go to a pub

I'm not disputing friendships they are formed everywhere but what I'm saying is...would you honestly have that much faith on this site telling folk all your personal stuff...ie...kids work and stuff...as I said we have all seen fab friendships go tits up on the forums over the yrs and as someone said earlier...it's not nice to watch...and if that person knows where you work or stuff I would be shaking in my heels?

its all about making the right choices as ive said most of us have put our trust in people only to have that trust betrayed .
The choices are simple if you dont want anything held against you then dont share it.

I learned the hard way too , it's good to be friendly and have fun but my life it's private and totally kept seperate from this , nothing wrong with having fun but that's it full stop |
