Prometheus: brilliant film just thought it would take a lot to keep up with the Alien movies

Star Trek 2009: deffo brilliant film just because I didn't think it would be any good

The Good Dinosaur: My daughter dragged me to the cinema to watch this, I though this was going to be crap, but I cried, I felt sad, felt better, I laughed out loud. felt every emotion

Wreck It Ralf: Another one I got dragged to cinema, absolute amazing, so, so funny

Yeah the books are often better.

So far only one movie for me has been loyal to the book's atmosphere, emotions and the actors fitted the books characters perfectly and that's 'the horse whisperer'. My fave book and my fave movie.

And no Rouge, you can't have my book, am precious about the books i like too lol

I think it was a quickly made film to join on the success of the alien films, i.e. the writing and production. That's why I didn't think I would enjoy it.

There is a timeline on it from the alien film that didn't sit well but I enjoyed it immensely. The film does make you think back to the original film Alien to think how things fall in place.

Other Great Films

A few Good Men: A film I didn't think I would enjoy as set in court but its is amazing

Goal: Another football film I thought would be utter crap and when I watched it I thought it was brilliant

The Thing: The prequel to the earlier Film with Kurt Russell again I didn't think it would be much but feck me it was good and just as sinister with tons of action

WARRIOR

Tommy (Tom Hardy), an ex-Marine with a tragic past, returns home and enlists his father (Nick Nolte), a recovering alcoholic and former wrestling coach, to train him for "Sparta," the biggest MMA tournament ever held. But when Tommy's underdog brother, Brendan (Joel Edgerton), fights his way into the tournament, the two brothers must finally confront each other and the forces that pulled them apart

bloody good film

Found Southpaw to be a cracking film, the scenes with the lead and his daughter were all too real in today's world.

A great watch, watery eyes at bits if it's one you can relate to though.

Conjuring 2- best horror that's been out for a while

Me before you- good film, but the book is better

Creed- if you like rocky films, you have to see this! I've only ever seen one rocky film. This was so sad, but brilliant!
