"Get some tubes of Ametop cream from the pharmacy and bring a sugary drink with you. Then relax and enjoy "
Oh I will need to see if I can find that as I'm still in Turkey
Planned to take a couple of co codomol too! Language barrier could make it a long session. However his design is stunning. |

Personally I wouldn't recommend taking pills before. But do bring them with you for after if you feel that you might need them. Ametop is a skin numbing cream that the docs use for kids giving blood tests and works great when getting inked |

Why not wait until you return home to the UK; most good tattoo artists can draw anything from a pic or photo and should something go wrong you know exactly who to contact |

Definitely
Try germaloid or any cream for piles. Sounds weird I know but antiseptic and anisthetic
Tattoo artist told me to use it
No scabbing too |

Kinda agree with this but if you're happy with your artist then all the above is good advice. I'm not a good person to ask though. My last one took seven hours straight and I loved it. I'm told I have a high pain threshold....
Enjoy it sounds intriguing, I love good ink xXx |

Keep breathing, it's instinct to hold your breath, but you'll stop your adrenaline kicking in!
After that, it's not that sore...in my opinion the creams don't work. And no antiseptic cream as it draws out the ink.
My last one took 3.5 hours, was getting a bit nippy at the end of that |

Numbing creams are meant to effect the overall outcome of the tattoo so I wouldn't recommend it and neither would a great tattooist. Just have loads of sugar, get a good nights sleep and have a wee blether (might be tricky with language barrier) you'll forget the pain soon enough |

Some good tattooist have numbing cream if you ask ..not that iv used it
I just put my headphones in turn the volume up and chill...don't tense and if your a bit cold stick a jumper on ..reason being is ..when you are cold you tend to tense up which is more painful
Chill and go with the flow x |

It hurts at first, after 5 mins your body reacts to the pain and you settle down. You don't need creams or any of that pish, just crack on and you'll be fine after a few short minutes!
Enjoy |

If your getting it in Turkey be careful with the shops hygiene and make sure it's clean needles and machine etc is clean.
Make sure area is free of the build up of tanning cream/oil as this will effect how inks absorbed into skin.....exfoliate area before hand.
Don't use any numbing cream as again this can eefect certain skin types where ink doesn't take so well.
Last but not least make sure you have eat and drink to allow body and pain endorphins etc so work properly .... Try not to be tense as again this effects pain endorphins etc....just think of the end result. |

Had 3 done in Marmaris in Turkey in the last 12 mths . Guy was amazing and I'm delighted with his work . Can't sit in sun or go into pool afterwards so I left mine till the night before I came home to get it done . Place was immaculate and other shop owners recommended him as being the best tattooist in the area. I'd definitely have more done when I return. |
