What do people class as one, a drink ? A night out ? Food ?

And how long would you say is appropriate ?

For me its a chat over coffee..

Chat over a drink but that can last any length of time. Could be whole night or just a quick half hour.

Some prefer all 3....

There is no time limit if there is mutual connection.

Chat over coffee would be sufficient

I think it depends on how you get along butit can be fun just meeting for a drink and a laugh if nothing else if theres no connection then at least you have met someone you would have never met before xx have fun xx

It's whatever you want it to be. Tea, coffee, Coca Cola, snack bar, evening meal. It all depends how much time you each have as well.

But 10 mins for a cuppa is a start

Social meet to me is a coffee in the morning or afternoon somewhere public

Wee chat to see how we get on and see if there's any chemestry..

Dinner..drinks or a movie is a date not a social
