I went in January to the one in govan and got a private reading. the woman knew a lot about my gran that I never met. She knew when she died and how she died

She asked my mum who "Eddie" was and my mum was like its the dug lol! The woman said all the spirits were shouting Eddie! WTF!

She also said I would meet a man who would love me like no man has loved me before in March....still waiting lol

Anyone else want to share an experience?

I'm afraid I'm a non believer. But everything is impossible until it becomes possible. I guess I have an underlying distrust for non scientific explanations.

I believe in everything to do with ghosts and spirits.

I went to one, a few years ago and she said stuff to me that wasn't very relevant but also mentionsed me granny.

I haven't been to one since but really want to try again.

I think there are a lot of experiences like this and there is much about the human condition and life we don't know. There are lots of things supporting it and many more that denigrate it as alas many unscrupulous people take advantage of the vunerable. I am involved with something that comes under this umbrella but have no ability in this particular area although like you I have been told things by someone they could not possibly know. As a very enlightened person once told me "Have an open mind and a sceptic on your shouder"

I believe it's possible entirely but I believe many people use it a clever "Darren Brown" style trick. If it helps people and they don't mind paying it's no bad thing however.

I sometimes get senses of folk through touch and can sometimes see auras around folk may be nonsense but I tend to stick by the inherant feeling I get with them. ( im not saying psychic as I think its more an active part of the brain thats normally dormant)

No. It is absolute nonsense.

These people are the lowest of the low. They prey on the emotions of the newly bereaved and hurting.

Look up cold reading and Barnum statements.

They are frauds. Every single one.

here's the thing. I'm not the one claiming to be able to talk to the dead, therefore I am not the one required to present proof.

I will say that there has NEVER been an instance of one of these liars proving THEY can talk to the dead. And every single one of their claims has been reproduced by the likes of Derren Brown or James Randi.

As an aside, you'd think that if they came back, the dead would have something more interesting to say other than only giving the first letter of their name or talking in broad strokes about that time you were in a caravan or hurt your knee on a bike...

Never used to believe in it until I had an experience one night, now I'm a firm believer in there is something either be a parallel universe or what,

Happened years ago I was travelling across a main motorway and came across a woman walking along the hard shoulder carrying a toddler I stopped to assist as it was late at night and a extremely wild night driving rain and a thunderstorm I asked what she was doing and got the reply her car had broke down I said get in and will take you to nearby services, I jumped back in driving side and looked across she was gone, thinking she had got out I jumped out had a look no sign of them , so hair on back of neck up jumped in and pulled away, on getting to the depot I was asked what was wrong as I was chalk white and soaked so I explained what had happened and an old security guard piped up o you've met the lass and kid then, he explained that she had broken down on way home along the route of the old road which is now part of the motorway had got out with the child to walk to the farm and was knocked over and both were killed instantly and on nights like that there had been various sightings from various people along the route

I wouldnt know ive never came back from the dead but until there is proof either way, statements like they are all frauds is a bit much

I've visited a few quacks over years, one said I'd be married by age 28, I was 32 at the time. Another said I'd meet a guy who wouldn't want me just for my boobs!!

Gave up after that

There's one local to us who my friends visited a few times, the first she was told about her pregnancys before it happened in a round about way both times, then the psychic mentioned about her brother(who died at a few days old) his name and stuff, my friend wasn't born when her brother was here. She went alone and didn't say a word about her life in any aspect, she wasn't on fb at the time either so no way of presnooping. Shocking how accurate she got the pregnancies etc considering my friend was on contraceptives at the time aswell. I believe in that sort of thing though

yes there are folk who prey on others that does not mean that all are fakes. Not everyone who claims to have an extra sensory perception even wants money out of it the spiritulist church would strike of any memver who charged for their service.yes there are folk like mr brown who do what they do look up psychic surgeon s and explain that when science cant. Its entirely your choice whether to believe or not but you do not know all the facts so your statement is absurd

There is a lot out there I can't explain. Doesn't make it real or unreal. Just that I can't explain it.

I've known people in my life who have been able to 'know things' about others. Again, I couldn't explain it.

We only use 10% of our brains so who's to say some of us can't tap into the rest from time to time and use that ability to know things about others.

there are so many things we cannot fathom. Watch any magic show and be amazed,

Best trick I can remember was a magician in an ice rink. Got a member of the audience to pick a card and sign it. He put it back in the pack and threw the whole lot in the air. He then picked them up and the girl's card wasn't there. Magician moved his foot and card was embedded in the ice under his foot. Amazing.

Sitting on the fence as far as Psychics are concerned. Have a friend who is a "Spiritualist" and I went along to her church on a couple of occasions.

I am a Buddhist and a Reiki master, I have seen auras and as mentioned above we only use a minuscule percentage of our brains, what if we could focus enough to use more.

I am studying Counselling, Behavioural Development and Wellbeing and am a very enlightened person. I did study parapsychology, Satanism and the Occult in my earlier years and I have deliberately put myself into situations where if there is a supernatural presence then it would have manifested itself to me.

I lived for 26 yrs in a house where some unexplained things happened and I have no answer for any of that

I am sceptical but I am open to suggestions.

Psychics, Spey wives, fortune tellers etc I have a disregard for as many are charlatans out for a fast buck, many have studied body language or NLP or other form of psychology and know the right questions to ask before using your answers to do a damn good profile for you

Our brains are easily fooled by auto-suggestion and for the weak and vulnerable they become easy prey

My tuppence worth

perhaps you should check up on things maybe 40 yrs ago a person was debunked there has been many controlled examinations done since that science cant explain the diffrence (not talking handful of blood clots) but scientific facts that tumours have got smaller after apparent psychic surgeons have done their thing. A closed mind never learns
