When on your travels to other parts of your city or beyond... Do any of you have a peek to see who's local??

Quite enjoy doing this and led to some cracking chats etc

Did this on my old profile, turned out there was a woman in the same hotel as me on business staying alone.

Met in the bar later that evening for a few drinks then she came upto my room.

Used to pop over to Ireland with the hubby and change our status to Ireland...then arrange a meet when we were over

You cam change it so it only shows your own preferences, assuming men aren't your preference.

On the search page click the banner "browsing UK" then select Ireland and stick a local postcode into the search criteria.

but unfrortuannlly it's turns up all men or some couples

I did it in Birmingham , ended up messaging a girl in the same hotel who was having a meal on the next table unfortunately she was with her parents.. I got a few winks and a flash as she left the table

I was on a train paasing kilmarnock and got a message saying i was close, explained i was on a train and wouldnt be close in about 10 minutes

Yeah, we figured that out. I meant changing our location so that we show up on the local updates page of people in Dublin not just being able to search for people in Dublin.

Doesn't let you change to another place outwith the UK. Must only be able to do it on the desktop site.

I always have a peek to see if anybody is about

But once I leave Heathrow it comes up with my nearest fabbers in Spain and then Tennerife

And that's from me being in central Africa

I work all over country, so i base my search on where i am. Ive been in edinburgh working for 3 months bit go home to ayrshire for weekend to chill n see my kids.

Last used on Saturday when a friend failed to show. Was in costas in central station and end up meeting a guy and having a great weekend in Dunoon

I use this everywhere I go. Met people in Ibiza and Mexico when I have been on my hollypops. Nice to see different people come up

I used it in Oz. When I was in Sydney the nearest was in brisbane! So not very lucky. But I do always use it when out and about in Scotland
