... of getting my shoes reheeled and soled.
My most fave shoes, my babies, my red and black 4 inch stilettoes, that i bought for a tenner a few years (ok 6 years) ago needed new heels and soled. Went to Timpsons in town. Later on i collected them, and they were all better. Gave the guy a £20 note, and was shocked when i got £3.05 back. £16.95!!!
Am i getting old, or was that expensive? |

I can't speak for red and black 4" stilettos but everyone I know uses Wards the cobbler on Merkland Street in Partick. Merkland Street is where the Partick bus/ train/ subway interchange is.
I don't think phone numbers are alllowed here but Wards are on Google and a phone call might save you some money. |

Alas Wards were useless for resoling my boots, Timpsons got the sole in, alas the pva glue sticky stuff failed after a few days hard hill walking.
Ther comes a time when new shoes take over. |

babies are getting worn tomoz. I gonna buy myself (or see if i can charm someone into buying me) a pair of irregular choice shoes for my 40th. They will be my new babies. All i need is a victim. I'm thinking my mum for this. Mr Sticky can't get me them - he's abroad. If theres any foot fetish peeps that want to buy me shoes, i'll happily accept them mind! |

must admit i have a few nice shoes, and boots, but these are just so yum. And surprisingly comfy. Although they big heels i can walk miles in them. i walked from Cj's new place to Glasgow Caledonian uni once in them, which is mostly uphill. Thats what killed them. |

You should hear how expensive some of Kitty's shoes are... and there's the times she just can't decide between two pairs...
