So the curse of 2016 has struck again, and this time it's taken Caroline Aherne aged 52.
Personally I loved Mrs Merton and Royle Family, she was a comedy genius!

Queen of Sheba is my most favourite piece of television. When Nana died and they played Sinead O'Connors version of Scarlett Ribbons, this will remain with me for ever.  |

I was just watching clips of that. Also my favourite episode. The way they dealt with the death with sincerity and comedy was amazing! Joe singing Pal of My Cradle Days always brings a lump to my throat.
