"Do you give people a different name or use your own when chatting to people on fab?
If you do when do you tell the person you are meeting or do you keep the fake name? "
We use our own names from the start if we feel a degree of trust. If we are wary we just use 'the Mr' or 'the Mrs' when mentioning each other. We have had folk tell us days or weeks later that they have been using fake names. It makes us feel a bit silly for a while but something we understand some folk feel they need to do so never an issue  |

No my name isn't Babs but I do give my real name once I plan to meet.
Although did get through a very pleasant social meet once for about 2 hours where we spoke about everything and it wasn't until I was rushing off for my bus I mentioned my real name lol |

It's very confusing we have friends on here who's fab name is two names but not their own names but now we know them we use real names but others don't confused I am |

Outside of forgetting the proper spelling: itd be too difficult to be on here under a pseudonym/penname! So it's Robb everywhere I go! Well except the "Exe's: then I am sure they have plenty more where I am concerned  ! Mutual, I do believe  ! |

I'm not bright enough to use a false name and for some stupid reason decided to put my year of birth in my user name!!!!
I should have at least taken a couple of years off!

My name on here's a nickname from living and warning on England, being Scottish and having Mac surname.
Once I start chatting my real name us happily given unless autocorrect changes it, as it has done a few times  |
