Recently I've had a male that I've met both solo and along with my partner who seemed to be getting too close and pushing more and more for solo meets.

It got to the point where he was asking to meet without even my partners knowledge.

To me that's just wrong! Thats not swinging but cheating, so I stopped meeting him.

But it got me thinking.  Have you ever (knowingly or unknowingly) split a couple up that you've been Swinging Pals with?

If so, how did it work out for all involved?

Sadly it's more common than some think.....we were in a similar situation with someone who was very manipulative .

Only advice I can give is to communicate always and don't get sucked in, if someone wants to play in someone else's relationship stay well away from them....true colours always show.

When I was a couple, we met another couple. After we had played she asked why he'd been such a wuss.

He said (and I quote) ' She is tighter than you'

He then said that she seemed to be enjoying herself and was more vocal than usual to which she replied....'he's bigger than you'

Needless to say they didn't stay together very long afterwards.

But she became good friends with us

I agree. Ive had to step away a couple of times because I felt she was getting to attached and I didn't want to cause any problems in their marriage.

Even now, I always make sure the hubby knows even if I meet a female friend just for lunch or a cuppa.

I had a partner tried to meet folks without my knowledge. Needless to say he is now a previous partner. In this you need trust and honesty or it wont work.

It's never happened to us, but if there were any indications of that we'd steer clear.

If we felt our involvement with someone else was causing problems, we'd back off there too.

There's no excuse at any point for a single male to try and secure solo meets with the fem. If you're not comfortable with the male at the meet or having knowledge at the very least, then meeting couples isn't for you.

A single male is there to enhance the couple relationship, it's not about them.

All that happens is you drive couples away from the lifestyle because it's a risk to their marriage.

Just don't!!

Works both ways this one...

I've had the male half of a couple I was friends with fairly recently start with the "oh I want to leave my gf for you blah blah" ... It actually got to the point of me cutting contact with them both...

If I'm meeting a couple I will class them BOTH as friends and I'd never ever screw over a friend, no matter what!

I once met a couple, he was much more into the meet to the point I felt uncomfortable and left. On my way out he tried to convince me to come back in an hour when he'd dumped her and sent her home. Needless to say I declined!
