Its that time of year again... actually paying to be electrocuted, soaked, dunked in ice, bruised and jumping off stuff... all for a free pint at the end....

We're heading down Friday and Mr(4th time) and his work friend(first time) are doing it. I shall be spectating with the work friends gf! Haha are yous looking forward to it? |

3rd and 4th time for us, the camping and the endless cooking of bacon are our highlights good to try a few new obstacles... it always amazes me that I get bruises in bits I don't remember knocking... |

Don't think I could hack camping atm haha we've a lovely little lodge booked, I don't miss the excitement of before it starts! It gives mr an excuse of getting a good rub down afterwards in the shower or bath back at the lodge  |

Pain, glory, everyone helps everyone and the bliss of that sip of cider or beer at the end! - be prepared to see unexpected things! I did my first one last year, severely undertrained for it though, we saw a guy with a busted up nose in bandages and 2 black eyes half way through and he finished just after us! mr "does it on the day" how he's not died yet is beyond me and he manages all the obstacles!

1st time doing it and was an 08:30 start , still looking for my tackle after the artic enema 2.0 .
didn't help the lassie pissing herself at us as she tipped more bags of ice into the skip  but will deff do again |

Glad you had a good run!! I actually found Artic Enema warmer this year.... and whacked the bell on King of the swingers for the first time!!
Everest was torture though as it just started raining when we get there.....*faceplant* |

Well done boys! They hadn't quite gotten to mr's enema tank with the ice so he thought the same although his poor mate ended up with blue lips by the time he got to electro shock therapy. All in all a fabulous day for everyone! They've even signed up for next year already :o I'm total tempted to try the half one if it's on  |
