Posted this in the help and support thread to no avail, but I know a large number of you guys here use kik.

Has anyone been having issues with Kik???

Mine won't connect on 3G but has no issues when on wifi.

All other apps work fine on the 3G! Doing my head in!

Sorry, I meant mobile data. It appears it's a software update issue.

Mine only connects on wifi as well now.. There's been loads of people having issues with kik.

They're obviously having some kind of technical issues.

Same problem for me, I get a notification of a new message but when I open the app I get the "connecting" whirly loading thing (IT genius here) & can't read the new message. It's weird.

3G is nothing like old dial up, a good connection is 5 times as quick as dial up!

I have the same connection problems with 4G which is faster than my home broadband. It's definitely a mobile web issue. I'm sure they must know about it. Await an app update.
