Watching the news about astronaut Tim Peake coming home made me think about being a child and dreaming of space travel.

Mind you, I wanted to be a farmer...go figure

Wanted to be a Haute couture designer in Paris.

The closest I am to that is tweaking/making some of my lingerie in Scotland

I'd always fancied one of 2 jobs,either the army or a lorry driver,I've been fortunate enough to have done both.

Wanted to do join the Navy, be a chef or a Rock Star

16 joined the Navy as a cook

Next week auditioning for a new band

Always wanted to be a vet to help sick animals until I found out you had to put them to sleep sometimes then I changed my mind as I couldn't do it

I I wanted to be Jem from Jem and The Holograms, or an ice skater (may have had a persuasion for lycra and fake tan!)

Safe to say I'm neither but I'm very happy in my grown up job

I wanted to drive a truck and fly fighter jets, tried and failed to get into RAF as a pilot as my eye site wasn't good enough

. As for truck driver, I will just settle for ma van

was a great programme on heston bloomantal

Cooked a days meal amazing the lengths in order just to feed astronauts

I wanted to be a fighter pilot in the RAF or join the Army. My gran thought I would be a police officer. I'm currently in the Army Reserve and I have an interview to be a prison custody officer. Can't be that bad lol

A world of my own

I wanted to be a nurse until I saw an episode of casualty when I was 9.

I also wanted to be a red coat.. now I'm reverting back to childhood goals as I plan to go work abroad as a rep once my boys are old enough

For the longest time I wanted to be an accountant, thinking that was the natural progression for a nerdy love of numbers. So wish someone had disabused me of that idea...
