Just been watching This mornings topic on the subject of gold diggers and sugar daddies.
Jeez some guys will pay anything for the company of a beautiful woman.
The question being raised is this a form of prostitution or is it a case of two adults both getting what they want?...discuss

Men are the problem to many have no self worth so pay. Yes gold diggers are a form of prostitution im sure we are going to read a hell of alot of buts. Though for me if you want cash for doing nothing but look pretty its prostitution.im not against prostitution just against trying to disguise it |

Missed it on this morning. Is it about the new Tv show gold diggers and sugar daddies? Can't remember the name of it but seen the adverts. To me it's just another form of prostitution if these woman wouldn't be interested in them without the cash, gifts, etc. Though I don't get the whole thing myself really I might watch the programme. |

There is a programme on Friday night about goldiggers which I will be watching. I do think it's a form of prostitution and like Kola said, there's nothing wrong with that but it's disguising it or it's a specialist area if you like.

" I think the sugar daddies dont have many issues admitting it is what it is but the gold diggers do not like being referred to as prostitutes |

I don't doubt they don't like to think of themselves as prostitutes as, in their _iew, they are looking for one person to spend a life with (I presume). Instead of primarily looking for love or soul mate they are putting a lifestyle, social standing and financial security at the top of their relationship agenda which taints it with the prostitution brush for a lot of people.
I have heard some people debate that some ordinary marriage's are a form of prostitution too as certain "things" are expected from both parties.
Traditionally these things are that the man provides financially and the woman provides certain services that become his rights in return such as housekeeper and sex. This is a very old fashioned notion but I can see the arguement. It's an interesting debate |

if both parties know and agree the score
if one is out to hoodwink the other for financial gain, both female and male ( as some women get duped out of their savings ), not so good.
as for prostitution, probably but who cares. |

It's a grey area... Back in the day the woman stayed home and the man brought home the money. Then women's lib and equal rights came along. Women got out the kitchen and became in some cases better earners than the men.
Prostitution? Maybe too strong a word as the woman isn't selling her wares, if the gent is giving willingly. It's the ones that rinse the men that are ones to watch. |
