"Forget that I've just Googled it aparently since 2015 it's become offical nudist beach for familys. For years it was known localy as a gay beach years before dogging got popular xxxx"
is a nudist beach for families not a bit,well,iffy to say the least?

Anyone be interested in a midweek social to the beach? Maybe in the next heatwave.... Would be good to get a mixed crowd together for a day at the beach getting the white bits covered. Ardeer is ideal as it's well out the way of the public  |

We went down one night n there was a crowd of young boys on dirt bikes driving about. Don't know if we went to the right bit we parked in like an old industrial estate and crossed a massive patch of grass. The beach was filthy |

When you get on to the beach turn left and head up keeping the sea on your right hand side until you pass the concrete wall. Then the sand dunes begin |

Yes Ardrossan.... Was it friendly or everyone keeping to themselves? How far along did yous go? I usually stop just before where all the guys hang about in there wee caves haha |

went yesterday sunday, lurvly being nude in the sun, yip we wer in the busy part, 4 or 5 cpls counting us lol, met a few old frends got chattn to a few new ones, good laff as well, xxx penny  |

Is there much playing on nudist beaches? I was always under the impression nudist beaches were family friendly. Would hate to think there's loads of guys roaming about with their cock in their hand looking for something that's not going to happen |

If its a family friendly nudist beach out of the way of the public can be difficult. I have 2 kids and they like exploring. If we were into the naturist lifestyle and we took them to the beach they would want to play up and down the dunes and go exploring all over the place. So what is out the road of the public? |

It's not family friendly that's for sure. Quite a lot of guys walking about obviously getting kick out of showing off their bits, and proud to show! Plenty decent folk too, but I'd say in the main it's guys looking for fun, either man on man or with couples. Any time I've seen couple there you get a lot of folk staring at them and moving close. Would definitely say not ideal beach for out and out naturism |

I was there 2-4, not much to see apart from wrinkly old guys nude bathing on the beach, took a walk behind the beach at the dunes but never seen a soul, does look a good secluded spot though!! |

Think it's busiest from 10am until about 4pm Princess... That's been the case anytime I've been. Deffo need to arrange a day out down there for everyone  |

That's the only annoying thing, guys parading up and down staring. I'm sure if there was a good crowd of us together they wouldn't bother us. Could even go right down the bottom away from the busy bit. |

Haha this made me chuckle. It's so true though. That's why we go as far away as possible. We enjoy the sunbathing. We don't go to play. People do play on the beach and don't hide so definitely not a family friendly beach. It's allegedly got the status back as a nudist beach but to me it's not a real nudist beach. True naturists don't want to shag each other or stand and ogle the women.

We went today and to be honest we weren't pestered at all, we were left alone to sunbathe without any expectations that we were there for any other reason |

Not the opinion of the police that i had a long coversation with,there only concern is if the bikers go near to the houses on the grass fields.

The police are not interested in the naturists on the beach but are very interested in the gays that are blatently playing with each other on the beach and the pervs that dont give naturist couples peace to sunbathe,its as simple as that.

I went down to Ardeer yesterday for the first time! Felt great to sunbathe nude, however was a bit taken aback by the amount of offers I got from much older guys who appeared to just be trawling along the beach.
Noticed a lot of mutual male on male play and plenty of others watching.
I was a bit put off but will give it another bash. |
