just fixed computer after a virus got it
its called system tool 2011 and comes in through your system tray as if its from microsoft. i have ended up having to reinstall xp altogether as it goes all through your registry so cant get rid of it !!!! just to let you know and avoid the hardship yourselfs lol |

Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware wont save you from this if y get it, you spend more time trying to find all the corrupt files so im with you kola fresh install is best option |

the malware bytes folks are correct if anyone gets this virus restart pc hold down f8 to enter safe mode and run the quick scan on MB it should then find 2 files which it will delete,
then restart pc and run MB full scan in normal mode, then onced all clear delete and icons for system tools on desktop. job done.
IT Tech in education we get this about 4 times a week just now.
also if you get stuck just google malwarebytes and systemtool 11 they talk you though the removal.
on this note be aware that "microsoft" (not) are calling homes saying pc is infected and they will talk you though how to fix it...........dont do it!! its fake! |

some pcs dont work on the hold down the f8 key u need to tap it several times for it to come up..
make sure the software is up 2 dat before running into safe mode
also while everything its done,
do a do defragment. you may find your pc or lap top will run a lot smoother |

I would suggest running Ccleaner or Glary Utilities before the defrag - no point tidying up all the temp files. Also helps remove any orphaned registry entries left by the Malware removal. |
