A few people I know on here don't use their real name on their profile etc for that reason. Don't give out your phone number and don't use the same face pics on here that you have on your social media as images can be 'reverse imaged searched' and linked back to your Facebook if you use the same photos. If you're using KIK, make sure it doesn't have your name, or at least full name in either username or display name. |

My account is set to friends only, for anyone to see more than a couple of basic details I need to accept their friend request, which I won't do unless I know them and want to.
I also make sure my security settings are on their highest, and I don't use pics on there that I use here. |

Do you use whatsapp? Since Facebook bought them over I have had a few fabbers come up as 'people you might know' on Facebook. Because I have connected with them on WhatsApp... prefer using kik now for this reason. If they are coming up on my facebook then I must be coming up on theirs and I don't like that |

Yeah I've had a few people come up as friends you may know from here on social media though I've never messaged them and they've never messaged me. Same as boobs and ball have all my settings on and only accept friends and family requests there. Like keeping things separate. |

have you been replying to his messages on here?
if not maybe he thought he'd be a smart ass and say something via FB, it's quite easy to track someone down if you know what they look and they're general area.
remove yourself from the facebook search thingy ma bob option, so you shouldn't come up any search unless they know your full name. |

Facebook are checking your cookies then flagging profiles of people you may know. I had two women's Facebook profiles (who I've met here) pop up as people I may know, needless to say I did not acknowledge them on Facebook (too weird).
There is no privacy anymore. |
